Delete your account
Deleting your Sai account ends your couple connection and immediately deletes your account and sign-in information, the records, photos, comments, messages and period records you created, and the locations and footprints of your current space. Records your partner wrote stay in their space, and copies they have saved separately cannot be recovered.
Delete in the app
Go to Us → Settings (top right) → Delete account, review the notice, and confirm.
Request without the app
You don’t need to reinstall the app. Email contact@neuralab.kr with the email you signed up with (for Kakao or Apple sign-up, the name you used in the app and your sign-in method). We verify it’s you, delete your account within 10 days and let you know. Never send your password or verification codes.
Delete some data and keep your account
You can delete specific data directly in the app. Deleted items are removed from the Service right away and disappear from operational backups within 7 days.
- Records, plans, anniversaries and their photos: open the record and delete it
- Comments: delete from your own comment
- Period records: Us → Period records, then delete the record
- Places you stayed and postcards: Walk → Footprints or Postcards, then delete
- Location: turn off location sharing on the Walk screen to stop sending your location and disappear from your partner’s map
For data you can’t delete in the app, such as chat messages, email contact@neuralab.kr with your account details and what you want deleted. We delete it within 10 days after verifying it’s you.
What remains after deletion
- Operational backups: deleted automatically 7 days after creation
- Encrypted tokens for revoking Apple or Kakao sign-in: deleted as soon as revocation finishes, within 30 days at most
- Records of location provision (recipient and time, no coordinates): kept 6 months as required by Korean law, then deleted
- Deletion request emails: kept 1 year after handling, then deleted
